Hi, I'm Coach Sonya J.
It all began 21 years ago when God whispered to me that He was going to birth a women’s ministry out of me. I knew I was called, but the weight of that calling terrified me. Deep down, I wanted to serve Him—but I was entangled in promiscuity, lust, and a constant fear of what it would really mean to give God my full “yes.”
Instead of running boldly into my purpose, I hid. I tried to balance both worlds—answering the call while clinging to the chains that bound me. But that only left me more broken and confused.
Then it all came to a head.
My life flipped upside down in every way imaginable. Every area of my life—spiritually, emotionally, and relationally—was shaken. It felt like my world had crumbled around me. In the middle of my brokenness, God led me to do one thing: take a deep look at my life. I began to assess the pain, the cycles, the sin that had entangled me for so long. And in that place of honesty, I cried out to Him.
I repented.
I laid my sins bare before the Lord. And in His mercy, He began to walk me through inner healing—healing the wounds I had carried, the lies I had believed, and the shame that had suffocated me for years. As He healed me, I began to surrender everything. Piece by piece, I gave Him the broken areas of my heart until I could finally embrace the fullness of who He had called me to be.
On the other side of that surrender, I discovered freedom. Boldness. Confidence. A renewed identity in Christ. And most of all—I embraced the call He had placed on my life: to help women just like you break free from trauma, step into healing, and walk boldly in their divine purpose.
Now, I stand as living proof that no matter how broken your past, God can transform your story into something powerful. He took my pain and turned it into purpose. And today, I walk alongside women to help them experience that same freedom, healing, and restoration through my A.R.I.S.E. process and community
